Lesaffre Gulf Reinforces Its Commitment to Communities with Ramadan 2026 Initiative in Sudan
As part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts across the Middle East and East Africa region, Lesaffre, through its regional entity Lesaffre Gulf, is proud to reaffirm its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities during the holy month of Ramadan.
For the second consecutive year, Lesaffre Gulf has partnered with Sadagaat Charity Organization to contribute to their Ramadan Response Initiative, aimed at addressing urgent food insecurity in Sudan.
A Meaningful Impact During Ramadan
Building on last year’s success, Lesaffre continues to take action to support communities in Sudan and create a lasting positive impact.
The initiative focuses on supporting communities affected by displacement and economic hardship, particularly in regions such as Tawila, El Obeid, and El Afaad.
Supporting One Million People in 2026
In 2026, Sadagaat aims to deliver one million Iftar meals throughout Ramadan. Contributions from partners like Lesaffre Gulf will help provide:
- Essential food baskets for families
- Freshly prepared Iftar meals for those in need
- Sustained support throughout the entire month of Ramadan
With an estimated cost of approximately 50 USD per family for the full month, the initiative ensures that even modest contributions can generate a significant impact.
CSR at the Heart of Lesaffre’s Mission
This initiative is fully aligned with Lesaffre’s global commitment to supporting communities and fostering sustainable development across the regions in which it operates.
By joining forces with trusted local organizations, Lesaffre Gulf continues to:
- Strengthen its social impact in the MEA region
- Support food security initiatives
- Contribute to solidarity efforts during key moments such as Ramadan
A Continued Commitment to Solidarity
Through this partnership, Lesaffre Gulf demonstrates that its role goes beyond baking solutions; it is also about supporting people, communities, and shared values.
