This commitment recently came to life through our heartfelt partnership in Ethiopia with the esteemed Sele Enat Charitable Organization (SECO). Founded in 2002, SECO has dedicated two decades to transformative work: alleviating the suffering of orphaned and disabled children and empowering women across Ethiopia. Their mission to keep children within the nurturing embrace of their communities deeply resonates with our own values of support and sustainable development.
Investing in Futures, One School Kit at a Time
Understanding that education is the cornerstone of empowerment, we directed our support to fuel the dreams of young learners. We are thrilled to share the outcomes of our joint project:
- 100 children in SECO’s programs received direct support.
- 100 complete school kits were donated, each carefully assembled to equip a student for academic success.
- Each kit contained: a sturdy school bag, 12 pencils, pens, an eraser, a sharpener, and a set of exercise books.
More Than a Donation: A Day of Shared Joy
The delivery of the kits was seamlessly woven into SECO’s celebration of Buhe, a cherished cultural and Christian holiday. Our team didn’t just deliver supplies; we participated fully in the festivities. The day was filled with laughter, playful games, and genuine connection with the incredible children and staff of SECO.
It was a powerful reminder that corporate citizenship is about active participation. It’s about sharing moments of joy and being present within our community. This event wasn’t just about what we gave, but about the shared happiness and hope we built together.
